Development of this application is in response to demand from our customers for a reporting solution that simplifies and enhances the default reporting capabilities available in BMC Track-It! and BMC FootPrints.
Help Desk Reporting Tool
Onsoft Reporter is a help desk reporting tool developed in response to a wide range of customer requests. It enhances Service Desk reporting and is an essential addition to the highly successful Track-It! and FootPrints service management applications. It adds extensive reporting functionality by mining the massive amounts of data stored in these application databases. This data can be presented in various formats in order to maximise the impact and effectiveness of the information selected.

This powerful feature ensures that tickets sent from Track-It! or FootPrints to an external service desk are received and processed correctly. For example, we use Onsoft Reporter to facilitate two-way integration between FootPrints and JD Edwards, that is being used by a third-party supplier. By simply assigning a ticket to this supplier in FootPrints, the Onsoft Reporter then generates a ticket in JD Edwards and transmits the resulting reference number back to FootPrints.
